ReWeaving the Rainbow The Thought of Owen Barfield eBook David Lavery

This is a terrific introduction to the writing of Owen Barfield. My only complaint is the lack of a table of contents, as well as dozens of typographical errors throughout the book. It is sometimes difficult to understand at times, as one has to figure out what word was meant in place of the typo. It's actually a wonderful irony that a book about the evolution of consciousness via a study of language would be so encumbered by such errors. I'm not complaining too much as the cost of this lengthy collection of essays is quite inexpensive.

A good intro to Barfield.
I'm a long time fan of Owen Barfield and have read almost all of his work. This compilation looks at that work from a lot of different angles. Full of insights. The negative bit is that the book is filled with typos, so you do have to pay attention sometimes to avoid going astray.
